Cooper and Turner has announced a 3 year contract for the supply of a range of bolts, sets and studding to the Nacelles Division of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer.

Narcelles is a new market sector for the company but which has been won as a result of its cost competitiveness, product quality and consistency and proven record supplying the Towers Division of the company for the past five years.

As wind turbine towers have become ever taller, Cooper and Turner has developed a larger specification of tower bolting. These bolts are packed in a ‘kit’ form to a project specific bolting list to facilitate project management and ease of tower erection on site.

Similarly, Cooper and Turner will service Nacelles on a multi location basis and will ship the product globally. This contract will be serviced from the Sheffield and commenced in January 2009.

The company has serviced the wind turbine market for more than 10 years ..........long before it became fashionable.
